Ever heard of a "Diaper Cake"?  I made my first for a baby shower this past weekend.  The cake is 3 layers and is actually made out of disposable diapers (which can actually be un-rubber-banded and used) and decorated with ribbon, baby items, bows and flowers.  Items that wouldn't fit on the cake were placed underneath the cake stand on brightly colored tissue paper.  The "cake" was a huge success, and it didn't even mess up my kitchen!
